The Cemetery grounds are open from dawn until dusk throughout the year.

Newstead Cemetery Charges

*The resident concessionary rate will be applied where the deceased lived in the Parish of Newstead
or has done so within the last two years, or five years if moved into full time residential care.
The residential concessionary rate will also be applied to the pre purchase of a Deed of Right of Burial
prior to death, to any persons that live in the Parish of Newstead.
Non-residential fees will be applicable for burial if the person does not later qualify for concessionary rates.
**Please be advised that an 8ft grave may not always be possible to dig if the water table is high.
Oversize coffins for reference 28” width or more and caskets which take up more than the allocated grave spacing will incur extra charges as will any out of hours work
Extra charge fee for oversize coffin £50.00 – £100.00
