This precaution is being taken after a tree survey has identified that several trees within the Old Cemetery are unsafe, and there is a risk of falling branches.
Newstead Parish Council is arranging for the removal of these trees and for the Cemetery to be made safe as quickly as possible.
We apologise for any inconvenience this causes however the safety of our residents and visitors to the Cemetery is our main priority.
