The Queens Jubilee Tea Party – Wednesday 8th June
Hosted by Newstead Parish Council at the Newstead Centre.
The Parish Council would like to say thank you to those who came to the over 60’s Platinum Jubilee Tea Party. It was so lovely to see you all, laughing and chatting, and congratulations to all the quiz winners! This celebration gave people the opportunity to get together properly after such a long time in lockdown and it was a lovely event for everyone to come together again and make some new friends.
We would also like to thank the Newstead Centre for the beautiful food, the lovely decorated room and of course all the staff and the behind the scenes work they put in, to make events such a success.
This event was made possible because of funding received from the National Lottery Community Fund, we thank them for the grant as it has helped the Council make a great start to what we hope, is the first, of many events for the Over 60’s within the community.
